＜当サイトのリスニング練習法＞
いたってシンプルです。動画のまねをするだけです。今回の場合ですと、下の動画を見ながら動画と同じように”cartoon man”を描くだけです。2,3回で結構です。同じものを何度もするより、いろいろなこと数多く行うように心がけてください。
日本語訳は、一切ありません。なぜなら、英語の意味が分からなくても動画で理解することができるからです。
この方法は、体を使うことで右脳に働きかけるので、第二言語の習得にはとても効果があります。
これまで我々が行ってきた、”英文を日本語に訳す”、”先生の後について英語を発音する”、”英語を暗記する”などは、左脳を使うため習う側にストレスを与えてしまいます。そのため、第二言語の習得が遅れると言われています。
＜今回の練習＞
●動画では、下書きに緑色のペンを使っていますが、皆さんは鉛筆を使って頂いて結構です。
●0：26から絵を描く動作が始ります。下のスクリプトも、そこからのものになります。
●最初からスクリプトは見ないでください。あくまで確認として使うようにしてくださいね。
●よく使われる動詞は赤色、名詞は青色、形容詞は紫色にしておきました。皆さんが、恐らく 知っているだろうという単語は除きました。

Cartoon Drawing: How To Draw A Cartoon Man
Step 1: Rough outline
First, start with his head.
Pop a little stick on for his neck and then mark out his body.
Make sure the shoulders are even and the neck is in the middle.
Then mark on two stick legs and arms with hands.
Make sure both arms are the same length.
Then you can fatten up your guy by going in and around his stick figure.
Check your pencil outline before you carry on.
Step 2: Details
Give him a pair of ears and lots of hair.
Give him a jaw line and give detail to his ears.
Next come his eyes, nose, eyebrows and a big smile.
Now give him some clothes to wear. A knitted jumper perhaps with a round neck and long sleeves.
Give your little man fingers and thumbs. Now onto his legs.
Mark out a pair of trousers and a pair of smart shoes.
There we go, a cartoon man！
