＜今回の練習＞
●動画では、下書きに緑色のペンを使っていますが、皆さんは鉛筆を使って頂いて結構です。
●0：27から絵を描く動作が始ります。下のスクリプトも、そこからのものになります。
●最初からスクリプトは見ないでください。あくまで確認として使うようにしてくださいね。
●よく使われる動詞は赤色、名詞は青色、形容詞は紫色にしておきました。皆さんが、恐らく知っているだろうという単語は除きました。
＜当サイトのリスニング練習法＞
いたってシンプルです。動画のまねをするだけです。今回の場合ですと、下の動画を見ながら動画と同じように”cartoon monkey”を描くだけです。2,3回で結構です。同じ動画を何度もするより、いろいろな動画を数多く行うように心がけてください。
日本語訳は、一切ありません。なぜなら、英語の意味が分からなくても、ある程度動画で理解することができるからです。
この方法は、体を使うことで右脳に働きかけるので、第二言語の習得にはとても効果があります。
これまで我々が行ってきた、”英文を日本語に訳す”、”先生の後について英語を発音する”、”英語を暗記する”などは、左脳を使うため習う側にストレスを与えてしまいます。そのため、第二言語の習得が遅れると言われています。

＜スクリプト＞
Step 1: Rough outline
Start with the monkey's head and give him a long body.
His legs should be long too, and to help him swing through the trees, his monkey arms should be even longer.
Give him two big ears and gradually start building up your drawing so it looks more monkey like.
Lastly give him a long tail. Check your pencil outline before you carry on.
Step 2: Details
Now add some details to the monkey's head.
Go over his big ears and add a small tuft of hair.
Draw in two eyes, two dots for the nose and a line for his big smile.
Now go over those long monkey arms and legs.
When drawing his toes, remember that monkeys have longer toes than we do.
There we go, a cheeky monkey.
